Senior LLM/Prompt Engineer (Python Focus)

About the Role

You'll lead AI/LLM integration across two products:

• A document intelligence platform extracting entities, relationships, and chronologies
• A logistics system requiring LLM-powered automation and data structuring

As the senior AI engineer, you'll ensure LLM outputs are reliable, scalable, and tied to business logic.

What You'll Do

• Design and optimize LLM pipelines (prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning)
• Build robust Python services for data preprocessing, LLM API integration, and output validation
• Collaborate with engineers to productionize AI features (e.g., traceable evidence linking)
• Lead performance analysis and improvements (latency, cost, accuracy)
• Mentor junior team members on LLM best practices

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

• 5+ years in Python software engineering (APIs, data pipelines)
• 2+ years hands-on LLM experience (shipped prompt/RAG/fine-tuning solutions)
• Strong data skills (SQL, pandas, evaluating output quality)
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable AI systems

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with legal tech, logistics, or domain-specific workflows
• Light ML/data science background (sklearn, embeddings, evaluation metrics)
