What We’re Looking For:

  1. Your Experience & Skills:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience designing stunning UI/UX for web and mobile apps.
  • Mastery of Figma to whip up wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect high-fidelity designs.
  • A knack for modern, fresh styling —think responsive, adaptive designs that feel current and captivating.
  • A passion for user-centered design , weaving in best practices for usability, accessibility (like WCAG), and seamless interactions.
  1. Show Off Your Work:
  • An online portfolio bursting with web and mobile app projects that showcase your creative spark and problem-solving chops. Bonus points for case studies or stories behind your designs that reveal your process from concept to completion!
  1. Design Systems & Libraries:
  • Experience rocking design systems (e.g., Material Design, Apple’s HIG) and building or using component-based design libraries to keep things consistent and scalable.
  • Comfort creating and updating design tokens, style guides, or libraries in Figma to make teamwork a breeze.
  1. Articulating User Experience & Interactions:
  • A talent for articulating user experience interactions between elements—think explaining how a button’s hover state or a menu’s flow guides users effortlessly.
  • Skill in simple animation prototyping (e.g., micro-interactions, transitions) to bring designs to life and enhance usability, using Figma or tools like Principle or After Effects.
  1. Scaling for Millions:
  • A solid understanding of designing consumer apps that scale to millions of users , with an eye for performance, localization (including RTL layouts), and platform-specific nuances (iOS, Android, web).
  1. Teamwork & Communication:
  • A collaborative spirit to vibe with product managers, developers, and fellow designers, sharing ideas and embracing feedback.
  • Stellar communication skills to explain your design choices and make the handoff to developers smooth (think tools like Zeplin or Figma’s dev mode ).
  • Familiarity with tools like Slack , Pumble , Jira , or Confluence to keep projects humming.
  1. Other Must-Haves:
  • Agile Enthusiasm: Thrives in Agile/Scrum settings, iterating designs based on user feedback and sprint goals.
  • User Research Love: Experience running user tests or research to shape designs that truly resonate.
  • Detail Obsession: A sharp eye for typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy to create polished, jaw-dropping designs.
  • Tech Curiosity: Basic knowledge of front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge the gap between design and development.
  • Multi-Tasking Pro: Juggling multiple projects with ease, hitting deadlines, and keeping the creative energy high.
  • Lifelong Learner: Always exploring new design trends, tools, or tech—like AI-driven design or immersive 3D interfaces.

Education:
